Professional Summary

My practice began as an longitudinal auto-ethnographic research project delving into topics such as:

  • Multicultural socialization

  • US Race & Identity Politic

  • Disability Justice

  • Class consciousness, working-class work ethic, and class inequality

  • Immigration, Citizenship, and legal status in the US

  • The Medical Industrial Complex

  • The Prison Industrial Complex

  • The School to Prison Pipeline

  • Substance Abuse/Addiction/Mental W(e/i)llness

  • Domestic Abuse/Intimate Partner Violence/ and a variety of other abuse dynamics

  • Gender & Sexuality: focus in transgender subjectivities 

  • Intergenerational Trauma & Intergenerational Healing

  • Organized religion, theology, and specifically Catholicism

  • Traditional American Rites of Passage

  • Animistic Pagan Spirituality

The decades of lived experience I carry is what informed my later research and professional practice. Although I do not specialize in many of these topics, they are what inform how I view the world, and the ways in which I work to deepen my practice as an equity consultant.
